LIFE doesn’t stop when our hearts are shattered, or when our spirits are broken. There is no pause button because life and people continue to go on with busyness. I have learned that time is measured in minutes but life is measured by moments…..Think of the unforgettable times in life, maybe when your first child was born or you received that well deserved promotion. Maybe even the painful times such as losing a spouse, a child, or a parent unexpectedly. In all of the moments that made a lasting impression on you, God has seen all of those. He knows what you are going through. God’s love for us is boundless, unconditional, and unchanging. It’s a love we can hardly comprehend yet it is so impactful! GOD’S LOVE is not based on what we do. His love is personal and intimate reaching into the depths of our hearts.
If we accept his love, it’s the kind of love that changes us from the inside out. His love empowers us to love others in the same way without judgments. God’s love gives us comfort in times of sorrow and strength when we feel we can’t go on. Have you been there? I just want to encourage you today that you are not alone because He sees you. He knows your fears, struggles, and shortcomings. Nothing can separate you from the love of God (Romans 8:38-39). Like the song originally written by Frederick M. Lehman,“The Love of God,” states that his love is so rich and pure, measureless and strong. To write the love of God above would drain the ocean dry.
Here’s the truth: You can be secure in God’s Love for You! I hope this Valentine’s Day, that you know you are truly loved by the unchanging God who cares for you. His love is a source of refuse and peace.
