Life is uncontrollable and our plans can instantly change. When this happens suddenly painful moments have a way of humbling us with a desire to reach beyond our own self-sufficiency. Reaching out to God the creator of life is the best way to reach up and out. Maybe God could have a purpose in our pain, our emptiness can become fullness when we continue to trust him. The God of the universe pours out his unfailing love, mercy, and compassion even in our brokenness to you and to me. I have come to believe that the end of one journey is the beginning of the next……
Ten months ago, I met a man that I believe was the answer to my prayers. After losing an amazing husband and friend in 2021, my life as I knew and loved stopped abruptly. The loneliness and silence can be inconceivably debilitating at times. If you have lost your loved one, you know and have experienced that similar grief. There is only one way to get through the process and that is to continue to walk through it trusting God. It also helps to find a few friends with similar experiences. God brought a man into my life who lost his wife, Ginny, the same month, and year I lost my Pat. Even though we did not know each other, we seemed to have a lot in common.
On September 28 we tied the knot. I became the wife of Mr. Ron Cameron. The celebration was shared with family and a few friends.
Here’s the Truth…..God is faithful. He knows what you’re going through. He keeps his promises. Most importantly his love and grace for you is impossible to understand, yet he gives it generously. So, keep trusting and keep believing. If you are here on earth, God isn’t finished with you. “God is still writing your story and mine. Don’t attempt to remove the pen from his hand. Let him continue to write your chapters and fulfill His purpose for your life because your story and mine continues.” What’s in front of you is so much more important than what’s behind you.
